Frequently Asked Questions
What wood are the sauna’s made from?
The saunas are built from 100% natural cedar boards. This includes the walls, ceiling, floor, benches and door.
Can these be put in a garage or basement?
I can deliver to a garage, but a basement needs to be properly ventilated in order to avoid water damage from the steam. The ventilation would need to be vented outside with a fan to pull all the steam out of the sauna as it rises. Garages are large enough and opened often enough that the steam doesn’t cause any harm. We sell an indoor version just for this purpose.
Where are you located, and can we pick it up rather than having it delivered?
We are located in Cache Valley which is in northern Utah and can deliver anywhere in Southern Idaho or Northern Utah. If you want to save some on the cost of delivery, you are definitely welcome to come pick it up. They weigh about 500 lbs for the largest size and can fit on most trailers with at least a 6’6” wide deck. I can load them at our shop, but you will need to unload them and level them at its final destination.
Can you deliver to a backyard?
We can deliver almost anywhere we need to. If the sauna fits through, we can drag it to where you need. The weight of the sauna is such that 4 adults can drag it almost anywhere.
Do you have any wood burning heater options?
We do not provide a wood burning option at this time. Wood burning stoves are very cost prohibitive at well over $1,300 just for the stove. It takes much longer to come to temperature and are not conducive to frequent use. We can provide a sauna without a heater if you want to add your own wood burning stove if that interests you.
Do you provide heaters and what kind are they?
We have found the Vevor sauna heater to be the biggest bang for your buck. They are very basic without any frills, but they get the job done without breaking the bank. We can provide other models of heaters upon request, or you can provide your own if you prefer.
Do you connect the power to the sauna upon delivery?
We are not licensed to connect power to the sauna. You will need to hire a licensed electrician to bring power to the heater.
Are the saunas insulated?
Our outdoor models are insulated all the way around with foam insulation and reflective surfaces to keep the heat inside as much as possible.
